MEC International is honoured since one of our projects, Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi hotel becomes the host of the second US- North Korea summit.

Appointed as a venue for talks between the two leaders of the United States and North Korea during the second US-North Korea Summit, Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi is seizing the opportunity to enroll in the world peace creation history. The five-star hotel, Sofitel Legend Metropole is one of the most luxurious places in Hanoi with classic architectural French colonial-era style. Located near by Hoan Kiem Lake and Hanoi Opera House, the hotel was built by two French investors in 1901 and now belongs to Accor Group, France. Sofitel Legend Metropole hotel is well-known by many famous magazines such as Travel & Leisure, Condé nast Traveller… and devoted as one of the best hotels in the world.

In 2008, MEC International was appointed to re-designing the whole M&E systems for the basement and technical storey for Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi. MEC is proud of what we had contributed to the hotel where one of the most important events in the world takes place in Vietnam. MEC has partly contributed to the perfection, luxury and prestige of the project. Although it has been more than 10 years since we were accompanied with the hotel, MEC’s design ideas and products have never been outdated and had been chosen as the venue for bilateral talks in the US-North Korea Summit.
