Firstly, LED lighting use safer and lighter materials. Incandescent, fluorescent and HID bulbs use glasses, which means they can shatter on impact, which is dangerous for everyone involved. On the other hand, LED lamps can be manufactured completely with shatter-free materials, thus eliminating this risk. Also, LED products tend to weigh less than conventional lighting fixtures. For example, HID fixtures are heavy because they use ballasts with iron cores, but this component is not necessary in LED fixtures for the same applications.

LED Lighting can operate more time on backup power. If a building must run on backup power due to an emergency or outage, LED lighting can last longer with the available power supplies, which are typically batteries or diesel generators. That means they consume less power, which helps drastically reduce monthly electrical bills if the building electrical system uses the national grid and bill for diesel or batteries in case of using generators.

Finally, the color rendering index of LED lights is usually 85 CRI and color temperature of 3000 ~ 4500 ~ 6500K, which makes the process of observation, supervision and operation easier. With light quality almost like natural light helps workers perform construction steps like in daytime. Lightings do not blink in order not to interrupt work in the construction sites.
