Bonchon chicken was created in 2002 by Mr Jinduk Seo in Busan, Korea. In 2006, the first international restaurant was opened in Fort Lee city, New Jersey, United States. Soon after, the restaurant chain spreaded widely though out America, including California, Massachusetts, Virginia, Texas… Beside Korea, Bonbon chicken has set foot in other Asian countries such as Singapore, Thailand, Philipines, VietNam and Myanmar. At the moment, Bonbon chicken has 91 stores operating in America and more than 300 all over the world. In April 2019, Bonchon chicken has officially opened its first store in Vietnam at 12 Nha Tho, Hoan Kiem, Ha Noi.

With the desire to bring Korean fried chicken flavor to Vietnamese fried chicken addicts, on 2nd June 2019, Bonchon chicken opens its second store at 39 Ly Thuong Kiet, Hoan Kiem, Ha Noi. For this new restaurant, Bonchon trusted MEC as an executive MEP contractor. In this project, MEC was in charge of designing and installing the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Low voltage, HVAC system with international technical standards that are suitable to the special specifications of the restaurant and meet the requirements of the investor.
