Viroth’s Hotel was built in 2012 and became popular in both Cambodia and the world. In 2016, the owner of the Hotel – Mr. Fabien Martial decided to upgrade the hotel’s hot water system with a huge desire to bring its customers the best services. As a prestigious MEP firm in Cambodia, MEC International was highly recommended by ASMA – Architects to renovate this system. MEC appointed our engineers with strong expertise to the site to survey and recalculate the demands of hot water used. After scrutinizing the whole hot – water system of the hotel, MEC consulted the investor about the new concept, including eliminating a cluster of hot – water pumps, getting rid of the system of burner rods, installing four more 500 – litter central hot – water tanks to support the solar panels at night. MEC took advantages of new technology by adding an automatically – controlled system which adjusts water’s temperature by time, sunlight intensity and seasons to ensure hot water capacity. As a result, hot water is always available for use and our work also helps Viroth’s Hotel save 60% electricity consumed by operating hot – water system.
The success of Viroth’s Hotel reinforces MEC’s reputations of quality and efficient technique.
